What it is and what it does
The white TurretCam 8 MP Dual Light combines 8 megapixels (3840×2160) with two night lights: 50 m infrared and 50 m white light. It covers 110° horizontally and its artificial intelligence tells people, pets and vehicles apart. It has True WDR/HDR, a microphone, mTLS encryption and microSD of up to 256 GB. It withstands −30 °C to +60 °C and is updated remotely over the network itself.
Who Dartel installs it for
It is the most complete turret for a house or a shop with a light façade: it gives detail to identify and colour at night. We install it at the main entrance, the gate or the patio. Without white light the white TurretCam 8 MP is enough; on dark walls, the black Dual Light; and if the point is far away, the 4 mm version.
How we install it
Each camera gets a PoE network cable from the recorder or the switch. We fix it on a firm wall or eave, high so it cannot be reached and with the face of whoever arrives still in view, away from the sun head-on. We add the camera by QR code in the app, check the effect of the white light at night and leave the recording adjusted.

What is the difference from the 5 MP Dual Light?
The detail. With 8 megapixels you can zoom in and recognise a face or a number plate that at 5 megapixels would be blurred. In return, it records at 25 frames per second and takes up more disk.
Does it update itself?
It supports remote firmware updates, without anyone having to climb up and take it down. We leave it up to date when installing it and tell you how to check for news in the app.
