WaterStop 1/2 inch solenoid valve

WaterStop half-inch (DN 15) solenoid valve to cut off the water to a bathroom, a washing machine or one specific stretch of pipe

What it is and what it does

The half-inch WaterStop is a solenoid valve that cuts the flow of water when the alarm orders it or when you do from the app. It has a 1/2 inch (DN 15) Bonomi valve and works for water and heating circuits. It talks to the hub over 868 MHz Jeweller radio and is powered by four CR123A batteries or by an external 7.5 to 14 V supply. It warns you if it overheats, above 60 degrees.

Who Dartel installs it for

It is the size for cutting off one specific stretch: the bathroom, the washing machine, the kitchen or a toilet in the premises. To shut off the whole home at once, there is the one-inch WaterStop. It is for indoors. It works with Hub Plus, Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, Hub Hybrid, ReX and ReX 2. It can be added to any Ajax alarm that we install.

How we install it

It is fitted into the pipe, so it needs plumbing work. We choose with you the stretch you want to protect and place it where it can be reached. Then we add it by reading its QR code in the app, assign it to your hub and test the shut-off from the app. It is combined with the LeaksProtect water leak detector, which is what gives the order.

Frequently asked questions

Does it close by itself if there is a leak?

If we combine it with a LeaksProtect water leak detector and give it that order in a scenario, yes. Without a detector, you close it from the app or by hand.

Does it need mains power?

It can run on four CR123A batteries or on an external 7.5 to 14 V supply. If there is a socket nearby we connect it to the mains; if not, it works on batteries.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
